One of my long-term goals is to devote a meaningful part of my life to addressing homelessness and helping people who have found themselves struggling to regain stability, dignity, and hope. I have a genuine burden for people who need a hand up—not simply a handout—and I believe that, with the right combination of compassion, opportunity, accountability, and practical support, many people can begin to rebuild their lives. I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but I do believe I have accumulated enough experience, relationships, and resources over the years to eventually make a meaningful difference. My hope is that, in the years ahead, I can use what I have learned and what I have been fortunate enough to build to help create pathways for people to move from simply surviving to having a real opportunity to thrive.
The Operator's Record
Brian Barbuto is a real estate developer, capital-formation operator, and entrepreneur with more than four decades of senior-level experience across development, construction, capital markets, and technology. As founder and CEO of Barbuto Building and Development Company and Speiro Builders, he led the development of thousands of housing units and millions of square feet of industrial space. He later founded several real estate and technology ventures. Today, he leads Memex-Orchestration, writes books, hosts developer webinars, and continues to invest, consult, and build across multiple housing sectors.

1978 – 1994
Barbuto Building & Development Co.
Headquartered in Southern California's Inland Empire, Brian directed the construction and sale of more than 2,320 housing units and over two million square feet of industrial space across four master-planned communities and twenty-one major subdivisions. He pioneered mixed-use communities and is credited with establishing the residential category known as Attached Single-Family Homes.
1990 – 2014
Speiro Builders, Sonoma County
Founder and CEO, leading three master-planned communities and 1,260 housing units — including 310 units of assisted and independent living facilities.
2013 – 2021
Barbuto Building & Development Co.
Capital-formation platforms in regulated real estate crowdfunding and the cannabis sector — working directly with the SEC on one of the first regulated online platforms for CRE investment.

Memex-Orchestration & Beyond
Brian leads Memex-Orchestration, publishes books on real estate and men's leadership, hosts monthly developer webinars, and continues to invest, consult, and build across three housing asset classes.

The future belongs to those who build the uniquely human qualities AI can amplify but never replace: character, judgment, creativity, courage, and vision. Technology is a tool Brian uses to extend four decades of judgment — not a replacement for it.
